Facebook Have Launched “Reactions” Today. Mark Zuckerberg Explains…

Today sees the worldwide rollout of “Reactions”, the new way to express yourself on facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg Explains:

“Not every moment you want to share is happy. Sometimes you want to share something sad or frustrating. Our community has been asking for a dislike button for years, but not because people want to tell friends they don’t like their posts. People wanted to express empathy and make it comfortable to share a wider range of emotions.”

Facebook previously rejected requests from the community for a dislike button on facebook as their ethics towards negativity is strong.

However with the wealth of media being shared on the platform and increase in discussion and debate, Facebook have released what they believe is the solution to previous requests.

Including the original like, an additional 5 reactions have been added: Love, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry.

We can now already see the next debate coming. Should it be “Haha” or “LOL”.

Mark Zuckerberg finally added:

“Love is the most popular reaction so far, which feels about right to me!”

Anyway, here are more useless buttons to press on a digital social network. Go mad.

Today is our worldwide launch of Reactions — the new Like button with more ways to express yourself. Not every moment…
