Shots, The Bieber-Backed App, Goes Beyond Selfies…
Shots, the social sharing selfie app, received an update thats lets its users share any link.
The move is an attempt to bring more direct engagement to Shots 6.6m active user base.
The iOS and Android app now allows users to add emoji based reactions similar to facebook recents update.
Images with the most engaged reactions from its users will feature on a “funny tab”.
The update deters from the visual-based app but increases social user reaction which will no doubt increase in monthly usage.
The app which originally launched in late 2013 has surprised many analysts predictions withs a growth. The continued returning user base is estimated to be 2/3rds of its 10m registered users.
This has been bolstered within the teen community thanks to an investment and continued social advertising from singer Justin Bieber.
The update allows any link to now be shared within the app from a pic on twitter to a product link on Amazon.
